Thomas’s thirty years of experience working with the global powerhouses of beauty and luxury is evident in the sophistication and elevated craft of his interior and landscape designs. But undoubtably it is his Southern sensibility that ensures his work on homes and gardens remain welcoming and supremely comfortable.
Thomas’s eye received an invaluable training through decades of global travel and working closely with luxury maisons. Before he was thirteen had already lived in four countries, as well as every region in the US and absorbed the unique aesthetic of each place. Then for three decades, as Instagram creative director for LVMH and other luxury and beauty brands, he learned the importance of honoring héritage, innovation and savoire-faire in crafting luxury designs and experiences. Five years living in Paris cemented his deep understanding of luxury. The diversity of and dexterity with a wide range of cultural aesthetics is instantly sensed in the variety of interior and landscape styles he produces.
Yet no matter what aesthetic he is channeling, Thomas’s Southern upbringing taught him order, elegance and ease is paramount to every successful design and lifestyle. Regardless where in the world they made their home, his Southern parents emphasized the importance of manners, gracious hospitality and comfort both indoors and out. Four years at the University of Virginia, a UNESCO World Heritage site noted for the importance and elegance of its classical buildings and antique furnishings, further underlined the daily rewards of timeless design, warm hospitality and true comfort.

Now based in the Hamptons outside of New York City, Thomas maintains an extensive garden of his own as well as his namesake interior and landscape design practice. Thomas is a member of American Society of Designers and the Institute for Classical Architecture.
